A GREAT START INTO THE ART OF FLOWER PHOTOGRAPHY

This workshop is an introduction to the wonderful world of the art of flower photography.

If you are beginning your journey into the art of flower photography this practical and relaxed course is a great place to start, where you will be guided through how to make best use of your DSLR camera to create beautiful images of flowers.

The basic technical skills along with the vision to 'see' in advance the finished picture are invaluable, whether you are seeking to create a Monet style impressionist image or a sharp botanical study.

Using clear explanations and easy to follow demonstrations, the workshop will demystify photography jargon and terminology. You will appreciate the benefits of switching off 'Auto-Everything' on your camera and confidently take control of your camera settings to create flower portraits you will be proud of.

Practical projects will be used throughout the day enabling you to plan your shots, set up the camera, create the appropriate background to best show off the subject, decide on composition, work with the light and finally edit your image in Photoshop.

There will be plenty of opportunities for you to practice the demonstrated techniques with one-to-one guidance ensuring you develop your photography and post processing skills.
